Centrax Creating eUniversity with Healthcare Provider PDF Print E-mail

Chicago, Illinois - The Resources of an eUniversity is the focus as Centrax teams up with a Local Healthcare Provider to help launch its first online resource for training. We’ve designed a 3-year plan to develop a complete eLearning curriculum and eUniversity. Leslie Ash, who is working closely with at least a dozen Subject Matter Experts or SMEs, is leading the initiative as Learning Solutions Architect and project manager.

“The e-University includes a variety of training tools, including self-paced e-learning, frequently asked questions tutorials, and quick reference cards.  The e-Learning modules will have an interactive ‘How To’ approach as well as On Demand Training via a search option for just-in-time training needs” confirms a SME working closely with Leslie. The first course is a 2010 training update and there will be credits offered for completion.

Addressing the value of eLearning along with the many benefits and reasons for developing this extensive program, an advocate of the eUniversity recognizes, “eLearning is flexible.  It is self-paced.  It can occur anytime and at any place.  eLearning provides more consistent course delivery.  Plus, numerous studies have shown that people learn faster with multimedia training; they more accurately recall what they learned over a longer period of time, and they are better to transfer what is learned to actual performance.”
