The Centrax win was announced on Thursday, November 19. The full list of winners can be viewed at www.brandon-hall.com. The course, ‘Handling Food Complaints’, is richly designed with 3D animated characters and environments. The course is created to be a self-paced course for Customer Service Representatives (CSR - cashiers, food service employees). Learners are hourly employees at sites with 24 hour operations. Intended to be taken via Internet in the back office of the store, the course provides practice in responding appropriately to customer complaints about food products. Consisting of two parts, first the CSR is immersed in scenarios having to respond to customers who say they are feeling sick after consuming a product they purchased from the store. The second focuses on the food production process, or “flow of food”, and engages the learner in responding to food complaints related to how the food is prepared and displayed. Response to the award by Edward Prentice, president of Centrax is, “It’s always significant to be validated for our work by both the client who invests in the learning process for their employees and recognizes an ROI for the training we’ve created, and Brandon Hall who notably keeps up with the ongoing beat of the learning world. In this competitive market, Centrax is thrilled to have this award recognition.” The Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards are presented annually by Brandon Hall Research, one of the leading research firms in training and development.
